Caledonian MacBrayne to step up ticket inspections

Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne is to step up the level of random, frequent ticket inspections on ferries throughout the network. The move comes as part of an ongoing review of the operation of a new concession scheme for the elderly introduced by the Scottish Executive at the start of October, in conjunction with other local authority schemes.
