Caledonian MacBrayne launch revamped timetable design

Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne has launched its new-look customer timetable for the winter period, which begins this weekend. The changeover from winter to summer timetable will take place on Sunday with the new service detailed in the timetable, which has changed from a landscape format to an easy to use pocket, upright style.

Caledonian MacBrayne commission Consultants for Islay study

Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne has confirmed details of a feasibility study into all aspects of ferry services to Islay. The study, which was formally announced by Caledonian MacBrayne Chairman Harold Mills in May, will be conducted by leading planning and transport specialists FaberMaunsell.

Caledonian MacBrayne detail response to consultation exercise

Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne has published details of the company’s response to the consultation paper, “Proposals for Tendering Clyde and Hebrides Lifeline Ferry Services”, issued by the Scottish Executive on 27 June, 2002. The consultation paper was accompanied by the draft invitation to tender, which includes the draft service specification for the ferry services.
