Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne is reminding customers that the winter timetable, which operates until March 24, 2005, will start on Sunday, October 24. Copies of the pocket-sized winter timetable publication were launched at the Royal National Mod in Perth this morning (Monday, October 11), when the company also confirmed that it will be launching CD versions of the timetables and its new Brochure for 2005. CalMac is main supporter of the Mod, which will next year be held in Stornoway and in 2006 in Dunoon.
