CalMac ferries to assist with Whalewatch weekend

Caledonian MacBrayne ferries will this weekend provide the perfect platform for passengers to take part in the national Whale and Dolphin Watch weekend. CalMac routes across the network from Ardrossan to Stornoway will be involved, offering people the chance to contribute to the survey of sea-life.

Gangway contingency plans in place

CalMac confirms position on Sunday flights ferries

Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne has no intention of introducing Sunday ferry sailings to Lewis this winter. The company has also confirmed that the issue of Sunday flights to the island, confirmed by flight operator Loganair yesterday, is not on the agenda for the regular meeting of the CalMac Board of Directors which will meet in Greenock next Wednesday.
