How long will the pilot scheme last?
The pilot will run for 2½ years from October 19 2008 to Spring 2011, to enable consideration of the wider impacts on the local economy in the Outer Hebrides and to establish the full potential benefits of introducing an RET system for all ferry fares in Scotland.
