Caledonian MacBrayne confirm result of RMT ballot

Caledonian MacBrayne is pleased to confirm the outcome of the RMT ballot on recent wage negotiations. 208 members voted to accept the offer and 50 voted against it. Managing Director, Lawrie Sinclair said, “I am delighted with the outcome of the ballot and pleased that the RMT members themselves have taken the decision to avoid industrial action. I’m sure the union and the Company can now move forward and work together to improve the business and secure our future with no threat of disruption or inconvenience to our customers”.
