| 12 March 2004 Ferry operators Caledonian MacBrayne has confirmed that normal service will resume on their Uig/Lochmaddy/Tarbert triangular route from Saturday March 13 at
Maintenance work at Tarbert Pier has been completed ahead of schedule with the service to resume as timetabled on Saturday afternoon. Route Manager David Taylor said; “I am pleased to confirm that, with good weather and other favourable conditions, we are able to return to normal this weekend.
