Ferry company Caledonian MacBrayne has confirmed that Managing Director Lawrie Sinclair has been reappointed for three years from May 1, 2004.

Mr Sinclair joined the company as Acting Managing Director in November, 2000, before being appointed MD in May, 2001.

CalMac Chairman Dr Harold Mills said: “Lawrie Sinclair has been a significant presence at the helm of this Company for the last three years, during which CalMac has faced many important challenges. His reappointment offers the company continuity as we gear up for the many challenges which we face in the future.”
