Customer information regarding Oban-Barra-Uist service
06 September 2005

Ferry operator Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) is reminding customers that temporary changes will affect the Oban/Uist/Barra timetable this weekend, Friday, September 9 and on Friday, September 30.

MV Clansman’s timetable will be altered to accommodate livestock traffic from Uist and will depart Castlebay on the two dates at 1850, arriving Lochboisdale at 2020; departing Lochboisdale at 2030 and arriving Oban at 0130.

Customers are also advised that extra time should be allowed for roadworks currently under way in Oban town centre and these are causing potential delays for customers accessing ferry services.
