CalMac Ferries Ltd, Scotland’s leading ferry operator, has launched a number of enhancements to its website aimed at making the information and booking capability more accessible and attractive to customers.

From today(Thursday, June 21, 2007), the company’s website, www.calmac.co.uk, includes enhanced online booking facilities, enabling owners of motorhomes, caravans, trailers, and motorcycles to book online. The website also now includes an Events listings service, offering additional ideas options for things to do in the Hebridean and Clyde islands, and updated information about the island destinations served by the lifeline ferry service.

Visitors to the website are able to enter a Prize Draw for a Hopscotch ticket, simply by posting their favourite “Island Experience” on www.calmac.co.uk.

The new Events Listings service, which is powered by www.hi-arts.co.uk, will give visitors to the Clyde and Hebridean islands invaluable information and a great choice of events across the CalMac network.
