Bute: Getting there/around

The Isle of Bute offers stunning 360 degree views of mountains, lochs, glens and five Clyde islands. Less than two hours from Glasgow a walker or cyclist can watch wildlife in total isolation. Outdoors there are sailing, fishing , wonderful gardens and golf in beautiful scenery.
The Bute Jazz Festival is world famous whilst classical, choral, folk and modern music are regularly provided in settings varying from Halls and Hotels to the Art Deco Pavilion in Scotland’s oldest Royal Burgh.
