Uist: Getting there/around
With white shell beaches, machair land and freshwater lochs, Uist is simply stunning.

Here you will discover spectacular beaches, sheltered bays and cliff walks along the coast. The image of the machair land, white beaches and the blue sea is one you will never forget.
Both North and South Uist contain freshwater lochs which make them ideal locations for anglers. North Uist provides an excellent place for ornithologists to watch both sea and land-based birds in their natural habitat.
