Rates

The prices quoted are inclusive of coach, driver and passengers (both adult and child). Singles are valid for day of use, Returns and Hopscotch tickets are valid for one month from date for which issued. Suggested day trip itinerary tickets are valid for the day of use only.

Single/Return tickets availability is limited – see individual route timetables. This Travel Trade leaflet should be read in conjunction with the relevant publications. Subject to availability.

Latest vehicle check-in times

Latest check-in times before departure are shown at the top of each timetable. Passengers are required to adhere to the time guidelines in order that safety procedures can be carried out. Tickets must be purchased before boarding where applicable. Vehicle drivers must be in possession of tickets before boarding (where applicable) and are required to check in not later than the times shown above each route table, otherwise space will be reallocated. Late check-in may lead to the vehicle being refused carriage. On certain services boarding cards may be required to be completed before boarding the vessel.

Passengers Requiring Assistance

Please advise us at the time of booking and when checking in at marshalling areas or terminals, of any special requirements your passengers may have (e.g. use of lifts/wheelchairs). Please advise us of your requirements at the time of booking, or let the Port Offices know in advance if assistance is required.

Wheelchairs

Customers requiring the use of wheelchairs at terminals or on ships are advised to contact the port of departure before travelling.

Safety on board

Drivers/Passengers are requested to pay attention to safety announcements and/or notices.

Drivers/Passengers are not allowed on vehicle decks of certain vessels while they are at sea. Vehicle occupants must be prepared to leave their vehicles when requested.

Smoking is forbidden in all public places in Scotland under legislation introduced on 26th March 06.

Tickets

Travel Trade tickets are non-commissionableand are non-transferable.  Caledonian MacBrayne will not replace lost, stolen, or mislaid tickets.
In such circumstances customers must purchase replacement tickets. If the lost tickets are subsequently found and submitted to the Customer Care Unit at Gourock then a full refund – less an administrative charge (see Refunds in main Explore brochure) will be paid.

Customers must be in possession of valid tickets at time of travel and must be prepared to provide them if requested.

Defaced or damaged tickets:
Any ticket which has become illegible or mutilated will not be valid. Tickets must be kept away from heat sources.

Receipts:
Customers should note that receipts can be issued only at time of ticket purchase.

Conditions of issue of tickets:
Any ticket issued by Caledonian MacBrayne, or any other body, company or person, upon whose property or premises the ticket may be available, is subject to the Regulations and Conditions of Carriage published by Caledonian MacBrayne. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure appropriate travel insurance cover.
All tickets must be purchased prior to boarding vessels.

Vehicle Lengths

Vehicle lengths are charged as per manufacturers’ specification or overall length, including tow bars, bicycle racks, rear mounted baggage racks, overhanging roof-rack items, etc., where fitted, whichever is greater.
