Five Ferries Tour

Why not take a day trip around Arran and Bute, and the Cowal and Kintyre Peninsulas on Five Ferries. You can start at any point, and travel in either direction. 

A suggested itinerary: Ardrossan-Brodick – after a 55 minute sail to Arran, journey to Lochranza where you will meet the ferry and sail to Claonaig on the Kintyre Peninsula. Enjoy a leisurely drive to Tarbert on Loch Fyne, where you can stop at this quaint fishing village for lunch. 

Your third ferry of the day is from Tarbert to Portavadie, on the Cowal Peninsula. Enjoy the stunning and dramatic drive through Tighnabruaich and the Kyles of Bute towards Colintraive where the 5 minute ferry crossing to Rhubodach on Bute is one of the shortest in the CalMac network. Explore Bute before returning to Wemyss Bay from Rothesay.
