Uist South

South Uist is linked by a number of causeways to Benbecula, North Uist and Berneray. Here you will discover spectacular beaches, sheltered bays and cliff walks along the coast. The image of the machair land, white beaches and the blue sea is one you will never forget. Be sure to venture off the main road to discover the great walks and sights and you might be lucky enough to spot some of the area's fantastic wildlife such as the golden eagle.

Sail to South Uist from Oban or Barra. South Uist is also accessible via causeways from Benebecula and North Uist.
