An offbeat teenager becomes pregnant, and finds a pair of apparently perfect adoptive parents for her unborn child. But the situation isn't as simple as it first appears, and leads to difficult decisions about the future of both mother and child. Ellen Page is marvellous in this sassy, daring and wonderfully entertaining comedy, cutting straight to the bone with scathingly sharp dialogue but also bringing warmth and vulnerability to soften the edges.
