Description:

Jamie Smith is a fine exponent of Scottish fiddle music who has been playing the fiddle since he was eight years old and is completely self-taught. He has toured with the Hillhead Strings Orchestra and with the Ceilidh band ‘Inishowen’ and his own band, ‘Beneche’. He will be joined by a fine Irish accordionist, Colette O’Leary and Brian Kelly on banjo.

Description:

Aros stages traditional music concerts and arts events in Skye's foremost theatre alongside the best of recent film releases. Our gallery includes an inspired collection of Traditional, Modern and Contemporary Scottish Art, by some of Scotland and Skye's most collectable artists. The Centre also plays host to the Skye Island Heritage exhibition, with also Forest Walks, gift shop and restaurant. Open all year, 09.00-18.00 and during performances.
