During these times, it is proposed to escort vehicles through the works when it is safe and practical to do so. Scotland TranServ will endeavour to ensure this will occur approximately every 2 hours during the closure. The verge drainage works, for both schemes, will be carried out Monday to Friday (08:00 to 18:00 hours), under single lane closures or convoy working where necessary. Over each weekend, between 18:00 hours on Friday and 21:00 hours on Sunday, there will be no restrictions to normal traffic movements. Live updates detailing the progress of the works will be posted on twitter. (www.twitter.com/ scot_ transerv) Local access will be maintained as far as possible and emergency services will have unrestricted access at all times. Motorists should allow extra time for their journeys and pay attention to any advisory signs which will be in place throughout the works.
