Raasay: Getting there/around

Woodland trails, rare wildlife and outdoor pursuits make Raasay an idyllic island option.

Raasay, a 15 minute ferry journey from Skye, has an abundance of flora and rare wildlife including Golden Eagles, red deer, seals and dolphins. With breathtaking scenery, the island is a haven for walkers with coastal paths, woodland trails and routes through open moorlands. 

The popular outdoor center on the island provides a wide range of activities from sailing and windsurfing to climbing, abseiling and archery.  This island is well worth a visit.
