The west coast has a wealth of great golf experiences for beginners and professionals alike. Courses range from multi award-winning and traditional links courses to the more unusual and remote - and stunning landscapes come as standard!
Head to Campbeltown on the Kintyre peninsula to enjoy the three great high quality courses of Machrihanish Dunes, Machrihanish Golf Course and Dunaverty Golf Course. Nearby Islay is home to the famous Machrie and on Arran you can enjoy playing the idiosyncratic and quirky Shiskine, just one of seven great courses on the island.
Play golf as it was first played on the ruggedly picturesque course at Colonsay, with friendly local wildlife and accommodating local rules, or go further west to the Inner Hebrides and Vaul Golf Club on Tiree. Heading further out, play the lost links of Uist at Askernish Old or travel even further to beautiful Harris and the Scarista Links at the Isle of Harris Golf Club - a gorgeous 9-holer bordered by the Atlantic Ocean with the white sands and turquoise waters typical of this area.
