Arran Sense of Scotland

Arran Sense of Scotland

What's on at Arran Sense of Scotland, at Home Farm this Summer

For three decades, we've been creating vibrant, evocative scents from our Home Farm factory, an old dairy farm for the historic Brodick Castle. We've grown significantly since we began as a small, family soap business, but we've held true to our island heritage.

The Isle of Arran is our heart and our inspiration. To the south we have lowland rolling hills laced with tranquil beaches and breathtaking views. To the north, the dramatic highlands are rugged, the heather more windswept, but it's every bit as beautiful. The rich colour palette of this unique blend of landscapes and the diversity of its herbs and flowers fuel our creativity and passion for beautiful things, beautifully made.

Discover how we formulate and manufacture our wide range of beauty and fragrance products right here on Arran - a guided tour will show you the hard work and processes that go into making our candles, soaps and body care lotions. Come along and experience our factory on Thursdays that run from 6.00pm until 7.30pm, or, each Friday at 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm. Join our free tours and learn about the fascinating story behind our brand. Large groups are also welcome, however please call and book your tour slot to avoid disappointment. Tours will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Children will enjoy our unique Soapworks Bar within our store at Home Farm (open every day from 9.00am - 6.00pm). Sit up at the bar and let your imagination run wild using colour and glitter to create your very own soap. This fun and hands on activity is popular with children aged 3+.

Alternatively try candle dipping - dip your candles into our special pots of coloured wax to create your own kaleidoscope of colour - then take home as a memory of your trip to Arran Aromatics! Soapworks and Candle dipping is available from 10.00am - 4.00pm. Soapworks is £6.50 and Candle dipping £3.00.

We will reopen on 20 July 2020.. Your safety and wellbeing is top priority, so a one-way system has been introduced, hand sanitiser stations and a no-touch policy to ensure a safe shopping experience for everyone. Open from 11.00 am - 4.00 pm every day, we look forward to welcoming you back!
