The submission:
The Armchair Athletics group is all about helping young people to gain confidence and skills through interacting with care home residents. The concept of the sessions is to introduce fun games to the residents that are set up and delivered by primary school children (with the help of school/care home staff).
Why were they chosen?
The projects intergenerational learning was seen positively and offers the young people engaging in the project opportunities to learn and develop skills in a forward thinking manner
