A red MacBraynes Bus

The Mòd is in full swing. Oban is bustling with the soulful sounds of music and the Gaelic language. It's a crisp autumn day with beautiful blue skies and the Children's competitions are well underway.

Tha a' Mhòd a-nis air a chàsan agus tha an t-Òban làn ceòl agus Gàidhlig. 'Se latha math a th'ann agus tha na farpaisean cloinne a' tachairt.

Our first feature on the bus is young Rufus Hughes from Oban performing 'Big Salmon, Small Salmon' the poem he performed.

A' chiad rud a bha againn air a' bhus 'se Rufus Hughes bhon t-Òban ag aithris am bardachd aige "Bradan Mòr agus Bradan beag".

Next up is the Port Ellen Primary School Choir performing 'Gabhaidh sinn an rathad mor', whilst competing for The Susan Paterson Caledonian MacBrayne Cup.

A-nis tha Coisir Bun-sgoil Port Ilein a' toirt dhuinn "Gabhaidh sinn an rathad mòr". Fhuair iad an duais " The Susan Paterson Caledonian Mac a'Bhruthain".

Our final film today is from Caitlyn MacInnes, a solo singer from the Isle of Eriskay. She competed today at the Mòd in the Girls 10 Years competition singing "Cailinn nam buadh".

Seo Caitlyn NicAonghais, seinneadair òg à Eirisgeidh. Ghabh I pàirt anns an fharpais airson nigheanan deich bliadhna a dh'aois. Seo I a' seinn "Cailinn nam Buadh".
