In commemoration in 2018 of 100 years since the ending of WW1, Home Fires, Broken Sons, is an exciting new work that brings to life events in the towns and villages of West Scotland during World War I.

This is an exciting new work that brings to life through theatre, music, poetry and visuals, events in the towns and villages of West Scotland during World War I. An intricate tapestry of tales of the relatively normal domestic life on the Homefront, many of them actual events drawn from newspaper articles, books and memories, is interwoven with the stark contrast of life at the battle front and in the 'muddy, bloody' trenches.

Event date: Saturday 28th July, 2.00pm - 3.00pm

Location: DA Hall, Millport, Isle of Cumbrae
