Q9. What is an ENG1?

An ENG1 is a medical certificate recognised by the MCA and essential for all seafarers. These can only be obtained from MCA approved doctors at a cost of approximately £85. You do not need to have an ENG1 to apply for the job however successful candidates will be required to obtain them at their own cost prior to a formal offer being made.
