Eigg Cycle Adventure

Bike on Eigg

Eigg Cycle Adventure

This great active adventure is geared to suit all fitness levels. Get on your bike and explore the small and beautiful Isle of Eigg, one of the archipelagos of islands in the Small Isles. Cycling is a great way to get around Eigg, particularly as visitors aren't allowed to bring cars to the island, so roads are quiet and there's plenty to explore. With one single-track road across the island and few vehicles, this is a very safe place to cycle and it's difficult to get lost.

For the adventurous, take a mountain bike to explore the additional tracks and trails. The rocky Gruilin Track leads to the ruined settlements of Gruilin overlooking the neighbouring island of Muck, one of many great spots to stop for a picnic and take in the views and perhaps spot some of the rich local wildlife, including golden eagles.

For lovers of
outdoor activities, cycling, heritage, nature.
