Wildlife Encounter

Our shorter wildlife experience is just the ticket if you're travelling with little ones.

It's a great half-day tour from Tobermory, with up to 4 hours on board to enjoy some of the fantastic local wildlife including seals, porpoise, white-tailed eagles, and perhaps even whales and dolphins if we're very lucky. Visit a seal colony, learn about the history and geology of the area, see a plankton trawl and (time and conditions permitting), listen to the marine animals under water with a hydrophone (underwater microphone). Or simply sit back and enjoy the stunning wildlife and scenery.  Upon returning from sea, you may have a small amount of time to explore the tearooms and craft shops of the colourful harbour village of Tobermory, before your return bus to Craignure and onwards to Oban.

*Tea and coffee are free (from Tobermory only) with snacks available for sale. Lunch is not included so bring a packed lunch or try some of the on board meal options during your ferry crossing.

For lovers of
Nature, wildlife.
