Special - Island Festival Fever
The west coast islands and peninsulas are home to a range of fantastic festivals and events throughout the year, particularly during the summer months. Most are family friendly, and many are award winning, attracting big names in the music industry as well as promoting up and coming artists.

Back in the studio, Nati and co-host Coinneach MacLeod - the Hebridean Baker - are joined by The Laurettes - an up-and-coming Scottish band of female musicians who have been described as a ‘Powerful Indie Folk Fusion band with a Celtic Rock twist’. The Laurettes have played at TMF, Butefest, Fèis Ìle and Heb Celt (to name a few), and they tell us why performing on the islands is so special to them.
