About
The MV Loch Tarbert, Loch an Tairbeirt in Gaelic, was designed for the summer traffic from Claonaig to Lochranza in the summer months. With the introduction of the MV Catriona to the Claonaig - Lochranza route in 2016 she moved to operate on the Tobermory - Kilchoan route in the summer months. In the winter she heads out as a relief vessel, and has served the Sounds of Harris, Barra, Largs, Gigha, and the winter route from Tarbert to Portavadie and Lochranza.
