Key information

  • You cannot reserve a specific sailing on this route. However, we advise you purchase your ticket in advance.
  • Crossing Time: 10 minutes.
  • Departs every 15 minutes during peak hours and every 30 minutes during off peak hours – check timetable for exact sailing times. 
  • Operates all year round. 
  • Connecting bus and taxi services (where requested by customer directly with taxi company) at both ports.

Coming soon - refurbished ticket office and waiting room area 

From 20 February, while we undertake work in the Largs ticket office, a temporary ticket office and waiting area will be located on the pier. This area will be smaller than the port office and will have limited seating. Customer toilet facilities will not be available in the port office during the closure; customers can use nearby public toilets or onboard facilities. We have provided more information on the works taking place in dedicated FAQs for Largs port office.
