MV Isle of Arran
The MV Isle of Arran, Eilean Arainn in Gaelic, spends her summers sailing from Ardrossan to Brodick and also sails part of the week from Ardrossan to Campbeltown. During the winter months she provides much needed support across the network, allowing other ferries time away from their route to complete their annual maintenance periods. She has two observation lounges on the boat, a bar, and cafeteria. Launched in 1984, she served ten years on the route from Ardrossan to Brodick, then a stint to Islay, before taking up her current duties.
