MV Loch Dunvegan

MV Loch Dunvegan

About

Although she now travels the five-minute crossing from Colintraive to Rhubodach on Bute, the MV Loch Dunvegan, Loch Dùnbheagan in Gaelic, was originally designed to sail between Kyle of Lochalsh and Kyleakin on Skye. She moved to her current post when the Skye Bridge was completed in October 1995 - after brief retirement and a stint of repairs on the Clyde.
