Islay: Kennacraig – Port Ellen/Port Askaig

Up to 17 April View amended timetable.

18 to 20 April View amended timetable between Kennacraig and Port Ellen, due to the closure of Port Askaig between 18 and 20 April, and how to request support with onward travel between ports when travelling as a foot passenger.

Port Askaig port works from 18 April: Customers are advised of significant ongoing works at Port Askaig to support MV Isle of Islay operations. Marshalling lanes within the port and access from the main road will be impacted by the works and caution is advised when approaching the port.

The winter timetable is now finished for the 2025/26 season. The next winter timetables will run from 19 October 2026 - 25 March 2027. We will update customers via our website once we have a release date confirmed.

23, 30 May & 1, 2 June: An amended timetable will operate on 23 & 30 May and 1 & 2 June for Fèis Ìle.

13 - 15 July: Due to Tiree Music Festival, amended timetables will operate on 13 and 14 July. On 15 July, the 07:00 sailing will operate from Port Askaig, not Port Ellen. View timetable details.

Check-in: 30 minutes for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers prior to departure. Late check in may result in space being reallocated or vehicles being refused carriage.
