Tickets: Book your ticket online, in advance of travel, even if you’re a foot passenger. If you are taking a vehicle you must have a permit to travel and contact the Mallaig office on 01687 310240, select option 2 on a touch-tone phone. All bookings must be made no later than 16:00 on the previous working day.
Check-in: 30 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 20 minutes for foot passengers - otherwise space will be reallocated. Late check-in may also lead to refusal of carriage.
Day return tickets are not always possible on this service: due to the nature of this timetable and check-in requirements, it is not always possible to travel to your specified island on a day return. Please check the timetable for details.
Non-landing cruise tickets for Small Isles are not available on this route: customers must disembark on arrival at the island port and cannot stay on board.
Excess luggage: Passengers with excess luggage should allow an extra 15 minutes for embarkation.

Concessions: Blue badge concession is available online and can be applied to your ticket. Please carry your concession card with you.
Group passengers: for tickets purchased online for any number of travelling companions the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to all legs of the journey. If you are unsure whether all group members will travel together, please make separate bookings.

Groups of 6 or more pedal cycles must inform the relevant port office in advance of travel. It should be noted that we may not be able to offer the first sailing of choice, therefore groups may not always be able to travel together.
Light goods vehicles exceeding 6 metres in length, 3.5 tonnes in weight, 3 metres in height, or 2.3 metres in width are charged at commercial vehicle rate.
