Tickets: Book your ticket online, in advance of travel, even if you’re a foot passenger. All vehicles and passengers must have a valid ticket prior to travel.

Check-in: 30 minutes for vehicles and foot passengers prior to departure. Late check in may result in space being reallocated or vehicles being refused carriage.

Due to ongoing disruption across the network an amended timetable will operate on Mondays 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 December.

Summer timetable 2025: The summer timetable for 28 March 2025 to 19 October 2025 will be released in phases. Oban - Colonsay - Port Askaig - Kennacraig will be available to view online today, Friday 6 December and bookings opening on Thursday 19 December at 08:00 and from 09:00 by phone and at our port offices.

Please note, timetables for Tiree Music Festival are still being finalised, therefore bookings for period 9 – 16 July 2025 will initially be unavailable for the following routes: Oban-Coll/Tiree, Oban – Craignure, Oban – Colonsay and Kennacraig – Islay. Planning ahead:  Book your ticket online in advance of travel - even if you're a foot passenger. eTickets can be scanned from your device.  

Concessions: SPT Ferry Card, SPT Companion Ferry Card and Blue badge concessions are available online and can be applied to your ticket. Please carry your concession card with you.

Group passengers: for tickets purchased online for any number of travelling companions the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to all legs of the journey. If you are unsure whether all group members will travel together, please make separate bookings.

Campervans/Motorhomes/Caravans: these may be allowed on Colonsay, but only by contacting Colonsay Estate on 01951 200211 before you travel. See also the

Guidance
