CalMac services to and from Uig to resume
Highland Council has confirmed that Uig Harbour will reopen on Friday 22 December 2023 following completion of its infrastructure works.
Finlay MacRae, Head of Operations at CalMac, said: "I'm pleased to share that Highland Council has confirmed our Uig-Tarbert/Lochmaddy services can return to service from tomorrow (Friday 22 December 2023) following completion of its infrastructure works at Uig Harbour. The service will resume with a 0730 sailing from Lochmaddy-Uig. Our timetables are available to view on our website.
"We thank customers for their patience while this work has been ongoing and alternative services have been in place. The closure periods have been a testing time for our communities, businesses and customers and we thank you for your patience and support.
"Our teams at Uig, Tarbert and Lochmaddy look forward to welcoming all our customers back on board."
