Judging Panel

Judge 1 — Graeme Johncock

Graeme Johncock is the author and storyteller behind Scotland's Stories, with a passion for Scottish history and folklore. His goal is to help people appreciate their travels around Scotland more by sharing the stories behind real Scottish places in an accessible and entertaining way.

Judge 2 — Sheila Gilmour

Sheila Gilmore is CEO of VisitArran & The Arran Trust.  As a native of the Isle of Arran, she is very involved in community, being active on many village and island committees. Storytelling is a key part of island life and Sheila (not shy of telling a story herself) is very much looking forward to being on the judging panel for CalMac's Rediscover the Island Magic campaign! Sheila is a firm believer in partnership working, and has recently been nominated by her peers and awarded the Scottish Thistle West Region Tourism Individual of the Year, and the Outstanding Contribution to the Visitor Economy at the Ayrshire Business Awards.

Judge 3 — Andrew Macnair

Andrew loves travel, ferries and anything to do with Scotland's history, culture and heritage. His earliest memories of CalMac ferries are taking a day trip to Dunoon from Gourock at the age of four and a family holiday on Tiree at the age of six.
