The winter timetable is now finished for the 2025/26 season and will run from 19 October 2026 - 25 March 2027. We will update customers via our website once we have a release date confirmed.

Tickets: Advance purchase your ticket online, before you travel. Read our helpful guide on ticket validity. Foot passenger single and return tickets only are available online for this route as vehicle permits are required before travel, once you have this permit, contact our team to purchase a vehicle ticket.
Travelling with a vehicle: you must have a permit to travel to Iona. Apply via Argyll and Bute Council on 01631 569160. (Please allow 48 hours from submission for approval and processing).
Check-in: 10 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and foot passengers. Late check-in may result in your vehicle being refused carriage.

Planning ahead: Book your ticket online in advance of travel - even if you're a foot passenger. eTickets can be scanned from your device.
Concessions: SPT Ferry Card and SPT Companion Ferry Card concessions are available online and can be applied to your ticket. Please carry your concession card with you.
Group passengers: for tickets purchased online for any number of travelling companions the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to all legs of the journey. If you are unsure whether all group members will travel together, please make separate transactions.

This route operates a 'Turn Up and Go' service. You are required to choose a preferred departure date when booking, but your ticket is valid for any date within the selected timetable period (summer or winter).

Groups of 6 or more pedal cycles must inform the relevant port office in advance of travel. It should be noted that we may not be able to offer the first sailing of choice, therefore groups may not always be able to travel together.
