Customer Update - Information to support your travel plans between 9 and 17 April

Updated 8 April 2026

You are likely to be aware that we are still experiencing some significant disruption with our fleet since several of our vessels remain unavailable for service due to ongoing technical issues. However, not all of our routes are affected.

And with that in mind, we want to share this update to give customers who will be travelling or thinking of taking a ferry trip with the support and information you need to plan your travel between 9 and 17 April.

Below you'll find:

  • An overview of those routes affected

  • What to expect if you’re travelling on a route affected by disruption

  • Advice if you're planning to travel and still to book/purchase a ticket

  • Passenger rights

  • How to contact us.

An overview of those routes affected

If you are planning to travel or have a booking for any of these routes, use the headings below to read about the routes we expect to be affected by the current disruption. Given that several of our vessels are not available, we've detailed how we will be supporting each route and what you can expect on those routes in the coming days

What to expect if you're travelling on a route affected by disruption

Please be assured if you have an impacted booking, we will be in touch with you to advise if it needs to be amended - and to provide you with support where required.

The above picture is changeable - so please do check the service status for your route prior to travel - this always carries the latest information on the service.

It is the same with our app – please do download this if you’ve not already done so. Then ‘favourite’ your route(s) to receive push notifications about the latest updates to our service status.

Advice if you’re planning to travel and still book / purchase a ticket

  • Always book or advance purchase your ticket prior to travel, even if you're travelling as a foot passenger.

  • For bookable routes, you’ll be booking a specific sailing with a date and time.

  • On a Turn Up and Go route, you will be purchasing a ticket that can be used at any time during the summer season, but it is not for a specific time, instead it’s for the next available sailing. So please do check timetables and plan. Most routes will be busier than normal this weekend. Plan ahead as your first choice of sailing may not be available.

  • For each of the routes listed above, our booking system will be unavailable for a period. This is temporary and takes place to allow us to make changes to current bookings in place. Please do check back. Our service status pages will be updated when this work is complete.

Route information

If you’ve not already booked and are thinking of travelling with us – we want to share a picture of what to expect on the network between 9 and 17 April, which you’ll find below. As always, please check the service status page for your route for the latest information.

We’ll publish up to the minute information for each route via our service status pages – if there are changes or disruption to any service we’ll publish straight away on the website.
