Customer Update - Mallaig/Oban - Lochboisdale (South Uist) services

We are currently managing the delay to the overhaul periods of some of the vessels within the fleet and as a result, we have made some changes to deployment plans to support services across the network during the period 27 March – 16 April. 

27 March – 16 April  

A combined Lochboisdale - Oban - Castlebay timetable will operate during this period and there will be no service to/from Mallaig during this period.

Customer bookings  

Our booking system is temporarily closed for new bookings and amendments on this route for the period Friday 27 March to Thursday 16 April. If you have yet to make a booking for this service during this period – this closure is temporary, please check back later. If you have a booking for the service during this period, we will be in touch with you if your reservation is affected. Our service status pages for the route will indicate when this has been completed.

Our team is working hard to manage the overhaul schedule and give customers certainty as we approach the summer timetable, and the spring break. We plan to conduct berthing trials with MV Glen Sannox on this route later in April with a view to supporting the Mallaig - Lochboisdale service. We are as always grateful for the understanding and support.
