As communicated on Friday, 1 August, Storm Floris is bringing adverse weather conditions across Scotland and the CalMac network today. The Met Office has now changed the status for today, to an amber warning for wind.
This means that many of our services are affected.

As circumstances and conditions can change at short notice, in addition to checking our service status pages which carry the latest information on each route, you can stay connected by:

Planning your next journey
Road conditions could also be affected in many areas, so do build in extra time for your journey to ports and ferry terminals even after the storm has passed.

The Met Office has forecast the arrival of Storm Floris on Monday 4 August, which could last into the early hours of Tuesday 5 August. At the time of writing, adverse weather conditions – including yellow warnings for high winds – are predicted to affect parts of Scotland and Opens in new windownational weather warnings have been issued.
Ferry services
With these conditions in mind, we wanted to give you early notice that some of our services may be affected when the storm passes through. This means some services may be delayed or cancelled in impacted areas to ensure the safety of customers and colleagues, which is our priority.
