Bookings and advanced purchases for the majority of routes on our summer timetable for the period 29 March to 30 September 2024 are available online, with the exception of sailings to/from Islay between 4 June - 30 September and Port Askaig-Colonsay between 4 June - 30 September. We expect these to open on 4 March. Reservations for Oban/Port Askaig - Colonsay for 10-17 July and 1-20 October timetable for all routes will be confirmed soon. Full details can be found in our customer update

Ticket validity - When making your purchase for Turn Up and Go routes - specifically single, return and journeys on 10 journey tickets, please keep in mind that these tickets are valid for the season in which you've purchased them. They cannot be amended and cannot be used outside the timetable period you have bought them in.  For 10 journey tickets specifically, select the W23 product if you plan to use these by 28 March 2024.

Kennacraig to Islay service 8 January to 28 March 2024 - An amended timetable will be in operation to allow for the next phase of CMAL's infrastructure works at Kennacraig Ferry Terminal. View the amended timetable and our customer update on what to expect during this period. Our ticketing system has been updated with the amended timetable from 8 January to 6 March and our team is currently updating the ticketing system for the period 7 March - 28 March. If you are intending to book travel for this period (7 March - 28 March) please be aware that some sailing dates may be temporarily unavailable while this work is being carried out. Thank you for your patience while we do this.

Travelling to Islay - When booking travel to/from Islay online, please select the port you plan to travel to/from - either Port Ellen or Port Askaig. If your booking is for a return journey, and you are selecting different Islay ports for each leg, please use the 'multi-Island' booking feature, shown when prompted to select the ticket type you'd like. This feature can be used to bundle multiple journeys across our network and will allow customers to make a return booking with travel through different Islay ports.

Travelling in a group - If you're purchasing tickets online for a group or multiple travel companions, please note that the entire party must travel together. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you're not certain whether all members of your group will be travelling together, we recommend completing separate transactions online.

Turn Up and Go routes - travelling with your vehicle for only one leg of a return journey - If you're pre-purchasing return vehicle/passenger tickets for one of our 'Turn Up and Go' routes, but you only wish to travel with a vehicle for one leg of your journey, please complete separate transactions online for your outward and return journeys.

Gallanach - Kerrera / Fionnphort - Iona / Mallaig - Small Isles - If you are planning to take a vehicle on any of these routes, you must have a permit to travel with your vehicle before purchasing your tickets.
