One or more sailings are disrupted

Service updates

Saturday 20th July – Saturday 31st August


Following a review of crew availability for Gourock-Dunoon services, the following sailings will be re-instated Mondays to Saturdays -

Depart Gourock – 11:35 and 18:35
Depart Dunoon – 12:05 and 19:05

The following cancellations will remain in place Mondays to Saturdays between Saturday 20th July - Saturday 31st August:

Depart Gourock – 10:05 and 20:10
Depart Dunoon – 10:35 and 20:40

An update on sailings from 2nd September onwards will be provided week commencing Monday 26th August.

Tuesday 23rd & 30th July and 13th, 20th & 27th August

In addition to the cancellations above, the following sailings have been cancelled due to the combination of overnight berthing and required crew hours of rest:

Depart Gourock – 22:35
Depart Dunoon – 23:05

Supplementary information

From Sunday 2 June 2024

ScotRail's timetable will change and as a result, to ensure key connections are maintained, we have made changes to our Gourock - Dunoon service. These timetables came into effect on the 2nd of June 2024. View timetable.

Until Further Notice

Scotrail will introduce a temporary timetable. This will impact various onward travel connections across the network. For further details please visit www.scotrail.co.uk prior to your journey.

Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases. If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.

Connecting Services - For customers using connecting services please note these services do not always guarantee a connection, particularly during times of disruption. We advise that you check both CalMac and connecting service websites prior to travel to ensure you can reach your end destination safely.
