MV Isle of Arran Passenger Lift

The passenger lift onboard MV Isle of Arran is currently out of use. We are currently contacting customers that have advised they require assistance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. There is limited availability on MV Alfred sailings from Troon/Brodick for customers requiring use of a passenger lift. Engineer attendance is being arranged and an update will be provided as soon as possible.

Until 29 September

Scotrail will introduce a temporary timetable, this will impact various onward travel connections across the network. For further details please visit www.scotrail.co.uk prior to your journey.

Ardrossan-Brodick summer timetable (from 29 March 2024 - 20 October 2024)

Due to MV Caledonian Isles having to undertake significant steelwork repairs, we have reviewed our deployment plans for the summer period.

MV Isle of Arran will continue to operate the Ardrossan-Brodick service. View timetable here.

If space is not available on the Ardrossan-Brodick service, there are two other options for travel to Arran. You can also travel from Troon-Brodick (up to/including 19 October, except caravans and motorhomes over 6 metres), and on our turn-up-and-go Claonaig-Lochranza service.

Due to a smaller vessel operating the Ardrossan-Brodick service, we strongly encourage all customers – including foot passengers – to book in advance, in order to guarantee their space and avoid disappointment.

Update on MV Caledonian Isles

Repairs to MV Caledonian Isles are continuing to progress. The vessel will return to service following the completion of successful repairs and sea trials. For the latest information, read our Customer Update.
