Service updates
Tuesday 19th March
The Master has reviewed the conditions and deemed them safe to allow the carriage of livestock and timber to resume with the 09:45 sailing from Ardrossan.
MV Isle of Arran will operate the core single vessel timetable. Please see details here. Additional sailings may be provided with MV Alfred, however this will be dependent on us having staff available before 29 March when the revised summer timetable will commence.
From start of Summer timetables - Friday 29th March
Due to MV Caledonian Isles having to undertake significant steelwork repairs we have reviewed out deployment plans for the summer period.
MV Isle of Arran will continue to operate to and from Ardrossan. Please see here
MV Alfred will operate to and from Troon from 29th March up to and including 21st August. Please see here.
During this time, MV Alfred will carry all vehicle types except for Motorhomes/Caravans and Coaches. Customers with these vehicle types are asked to travel on MV Isle of Arran sailings.

Our team will be in contact with you to provide further information and support if your booking has been affected. Please be advised we will be working in date order with the focus being sailings for the Easter period first, we will contact you as quickly as we can.
Whilst we update our reservation systems to reflect these timetables, some sailings may be unavailable.

MV Isle of Arran
Please note that the lift on MV Isle of Arran has now been repaired and is now back in operation.
Irish berth
On 2 February 2024 the owner of Ardrossan Harbour has advised that Irish berth, which has acted as the reserve berth for the Arran ferry service, is to close permanently.
