A82 Glengarry Castle, Nighttime Road Closure
Sunday 10 - Thursday 14 November

BEAR Scotland, on behalf of Transport Scotland, will undertake essential resurfacing works on the A82 Glengarry castle.
The A82 trunk road will be closed in both directions each night from the evening of Sunday 10 November to the morning of Thursday 14 November.
The road will be closed each night between 20:00pm to 06:00am. Amnesty periods will be in place when work will be temporarily suspended and vehicles escorted through site, at the following times: 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12am, 2am and 4am. The road closure will be removed out with working hours, however a 30mph speed limit and warning signs will remain in place. Access through the works site for emergency services will be always maintained.

Check-in – Please ensure that you arrive at the port in time to check-in for your sailing. Check-in is 45 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 30 minutes for foot passengers. Late check-in may lead to refusal of carriage and space reallocated.

Foot Passenger Minibus

Due to pier upgrades in Uig, please be advised that a minibus will be available to transport foot passengers from the port office to the vessel. Passengers will embark and disembark from the car deck.

Turn Up and Go and Bookable route online purchases. If you have purchased tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, for use on any of our Turn Up and Go or Bookable routes, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.

Connecting Services - For customers using connecting services please note these services do not always guarantee a connection, particularly during times of disruption. We advise that you check both CalMac and connecting service websites prior to travel to ensure you can reach your end destination safely.

Stay Safe - When travelling with us, we strongly recommend our customers follow our safer travel guidance. Before travel, take a moment to familiarise yourself with the details.
