Supplementary information

Vehicle Customers

The Troon services, operated by MV Alfred, can accommodate all types of vehicles, with the exception of coaches, large motorhomes or caravans and low profile cars due to the vessel's ramp configurations. Due to this there may be some small motorhomes or caravans that will also be unable to travel. Customers travelling with coaches, large motorhomes or caravans are advised to sail from Ardrossan instead.

Alternative routes to/from Arran - did you know there are two other options for travel to Arran? You can also travel from Ardrossan to Brodick or from Claonaig to Lochranza.

Retail Service

Please note that there is currently no retail offering onboard MV Alfred and Troon so please factor this into your journey plans.

Shuttle Bus Information

Caledonian MacBrayne will be providing a shuttle bus service between Troon train station and Troon ferry terminal, to support foot passengers using the Troon-Brodick service. Shuttle Bus information can be found here.
