Meet the Travel Trade Team
Neil Hunter - Senior Business development Manager
Neil joined CalMac in 2019, as the Senior Business Development Manager Neil supports the Travel Trade Team. He brings a substantial amount of industry knowledge to the role having worked in a variety of business sectors covering B2B, FMCG, Travel Trade/Hospitality and Food & Drink. He has a wealth of experience having previously worked at VisitScotland, Kuoni/GTA/Hotelbeds and Edinburgh Coach Lines. I am sure many of you have had prior experience of working with Neil during his time with us. He is looking forward to working with all customers and to a record year when it comes to 2022 travel trade bookings.
Stephen Monaghan - Business Devlopment & Partnerships Manager
Stephen joined CalMac as a Customer Engagement Team Manager in 2016. He moved into his new role of Business Development & Partnerships Manager in January 2022 and in April 2023 will also manage the Travel Trade Department. Stephen has overseen several areas of the business including Customer Services, Customer Care and Service Disruptions whilst supporting other departments. Key roles now include managing Travel Trade Team, product development, identify new Travel Trade, domestic groups and affiliate partners. Stephen continues to work closely with our Marketing, Retail and Customer Insights teams.
Christine Dodds - Travel Trade Key Account Executive
Christine joined CalMac as a Customer Advisor in 2008. Christine has held various positions within the company giving her a wealth of knowledge throughout the business. Key roles include Account Management, managing accounts by processing account management activity reports, acting as a first point of contact for clients regarding any account management issues. The daily management of reservations and enquiries.
Kay Inglis - Travel Trade Key Account Executive
Kay joined CalMac as a Customer Advisor in 2017. Kay moved to the Travel Trade Department in 2017. Key roles include management of reservations and enquiries and acting as a first point of contact for customers.
Claire Hughes - Travel Trade Account Executive
Claire joined CalMac as a Customer Advisor in 2018 and brought a wealth of experience in financial services, regulations, customer service and sales. In April 2023 Claire moved into her new role of Travel Trade Account Executive. Claire has worked in a couple of areas within the business including Customer Contact Centre and our Customer Care Department. Key roles now include being the first point of contact for our Travel Trade customers, with responsibility for providing information about our destinations and timetables, checking availability and making reservations, and supporting the Business Development and Marketing Departments with campaigns and retail offers.
Lucy Broadfoot - Travel Trade Account Executive
Lucy Joined CalMac in 2010 as a Customer Advisor. Through the years she has learned a wealth of knowledge about the company and many different departments gaining valuable experience and knowledge of customer feedback, suggestions and ways to improve. In April 2023 Lucy moved into her new role of Travel Trade Account Executive. Her key roles include acting as a first point of contact for our Travel Trade customers, regarding any account management issues, responsibility for providing information about our destinations and timetables, checking availability and making reservations, and supporting the Travel Trade Key Account Executives, Business Development and Marketing Departments with campaigns and retail offers.
