Arran: Troon - Brodick

Changes to Saturday and Sunday timetable Following a review, and to avoid potential delays caused by berthing clashes at Brodick on Saturdays and Sundays, we've made some slight changes to the Troon-Brodick timetable (operating 29 March-21 August inclusive). These changes are effective from Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April, and can be found on our timetable below.

Book your ticket online in advance of travel - even if you're a foot passenger. Find out more about eTickets. Purchasing tickets online? If you purchase tickets online as a group or for any number of travel companions, the full party must travel on the same sailing. This applies to both legs of your journey. If you are unsure if all members of your group are travelling together, please complete separate transactions online.

Alternative routes to/from Arran - did you know there are two other options for travel to Arran? You can also travel from Ardrossan to Brodick or from Claonaig to Lochranza.  

Information for coach, caravan and motorhome customers Due to the configuration of the vessels ramp on the Troon linkspan we are unable to take Motorhomes, Campervans and Caravans on this route. These vehicles will still be able to travel from Ardrossan to Brodick. View Ardrossan to Brodick timetable

Check-in is 30 minutes prior to departure for vehicles and 10 minutes for foot passengers - otherwise space will be reallocated. Late check-in may also lead to refusal of carriage.

Retail information - MV Alfred does not offer retail facilities on board, so please factor this into your journey plans.
