What payment methods do you accept?
At our Ports and on board our ferries we accept contactless methods of payment - including MasterCard, Visa, Apple, Google and Samsung pay.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are asking customers to pay using a contactless method of payment, where possible, to help us support the welfare of our staff and passengers. In exceptional circumstances, please make a member of staff aware if you have no other means of payment.
Gift Vouchers - We discontinued the sale of gift vouchers on 1 April 2020. However, vouchers can still be redeemed, and we have extended the window in which you can do so in light of the current travel situation until 31 January 2022. We will no longer accept gift vouchers as payment from 1 February 2022. If you are unable to use your vouchers before this date, we will continue to refund unused vouchers until 30 September 2024.
Online and Telephone Reservations
When making a reservation online or via the telephone, we accept MasterCard and Visa debit and credit cards.
Please note that cheques and American Express cards are no longer accepted. If you have an American Express card as a saved payment method on your CalMac online account, please link a new card to your account to ensure you can continue to book and amend your online reservations with ease.
