CalMac Update on Winter Timetables 10 June 2021

Customer Update - Winter Timetable 2021/22

Following discussion with Transport Scotland, we are pleased to update our customers that our Winter Timetable for the period 18 October 2021 - 24 March 2022 will be published via our website at 3pm on Friday 11 June. Online reservations will open via calmac.co.uk at 7am on Monday 14 June and our telephone reservations will open at 8am on the same day.

Making a booking

Our telephone lines and website are likely to be busy on 14 June. Where possible, we encourage our customers to make reservations at calmac.co.uk. Access to our website will be managed by a queue system, which is in place during periods of high demand to provide an improved booking experience. When in the queue, customers will automatically be directed to our website when it's their turn. We are grateful for your patience. Find out about our queuing system.

A reminder about our capacity

Coronavirus protection measures are in place. This means we are releasing this timetable in circumstances that remain very different when compared to previous years. We are still implementing official physical distancing guidelines which mean our capacity is still less than in 'normal times'. We will keep our customers informed if there are any changes to these official guidelines in the future.

Safer Travel with CalMac

When you sail with us, you'll notice that many of our processes have changed in response to COVID19. We've implemented important safer travel rules that everyone needs to follow - to help protect each other and the islands and the communities CalMac serves. To help our customers, we've prepared a series of series of FAQs on how to prepare and plan ahead for your journey - which includes information on wearing a face covering when travelling with us, and when in our port offices, unless exempt. We will keep our customers informed about these requirements - so please do stay up to date and in touch with us. You can find out how to do that below.

Stay up to date
